Hiroshima Day commemorates 6 August 1945, the day when an atomic bomb was dropped on the Japanese city of Hiroshima, followed a few days later by another dropped on the city of Nagasaki.
Edinburgh Peace & Justice Centre - Edinburgh
Join us on Sunday, August 6th for Hiroshima remembrance day! We will be hosting a special origami peace cranes workshop at the bottom of the mound between 6-7pm.
Stop by and learn to make an origami crane and maybe pledge to make 100 cranes or organise a group to make 1,000 to help us reach our massive goal of 140,000!!
Peace & Justice staff and volunteers will be on hand to talk about all the work of the Centre. Hope to see you there!
