Many millions of abortions take place around the world simply because the unborn child is a girl. A bill will be tabled in the House of Commons on the 4th November aimed at combatting the terrible injustice of sex- selected abortion. Please contact your MP ahead of that date.
In principle all selective abortions are a grave injustice. The law which permits abortion in the United Kingdom is very broad, yet abortion providers seem to go beyond even what the law states. The Government has confirmed that gender selection as a ground for abortion is illegal. This measure aims to clarify that this is indeed the case.
