New Campaign! No Slavery, No Exceptions
Anti-Slavery International launches a new campaign, No Slavery, No Exceptions, which focuses attention on one of the root causes of slavery in the 21st century - discrimination.

60 years after the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights stated that all human beings, without distinction of any kind, should be free from slavery, there are still more than 12 million people living in slavery across every continent of the world.
Anti-Slavery International launched a new campaign, No Slavery, No Exceptions, which focuses attention on one of the root causes of slavery in the 21st century - discrimination. Discrimination limits certain groups' access to education, jobs and healthcare, leaving them vulnerable to slavery as they look for ways to provide for themselves and their families. Discrimination also allows individuals to justify or tolerate slavery. The campaign seeks to eradicate slavery by tackling the discrimination which underpins it.
It is long past the time when every human being - without exception - should be able to live a life free from slavery. Please help us to eradicate slavery once and for all.
Sign the campaign Pledge Go to www.antislavery.org/noexceptions to sign the campaign Pledge. This calls on governments and relevant international organisations to commit to eradicating all forms of slavery by 2015, and to put in place and fully implement national and regional action plans to achieve this.
Throughout the campaign we will be producing campaign materials and issuing Action Briefings on countries where discrimination plays a key role in trapping marginalised groups in slavery.
You can order printed copies of the Pledge postcard to distribute among colleagues, friends and family by emailing k.willingham@antislavery.org your name, address and how many copies of the postcard you would like.
