The UK is being repaid millions of pounds of debt for bad lending: arms debt, loans to dictators and finance for environmentally unsound mega-projects. The Scottish Government can challenge this, by pledging to audit and cancel Scotland's share of overseas debt, and put in place a responsible export credit agency that will promote sustainable and ethical overseas and domestic growth, rather than simply being an engine for unjust debt.
