Justine must hear Unbreakable women's voices

Against some of the worst odds in the world, women in ‘fragile states’ like Somaliland, Zimbabwe and Yemen are organising to improve women’s lives by tackling the political, economic and social structures that keep them poor and marginalised. And they’re making powerful progress. Call on the UK government to support demands for a bigger role in political, environmental and social decision-making for women living in fragile states." (Progressio)

We know that women must be at the heart of nation building. As a new development agenda takes shape, these unbreakable women’s voices must be heard. We must stand with them. Join your voice with theirs and call on Justine Greening to raise these issues at the next international meeting for women, the 2014 Commission on the Status of Women. It's time to take the first step on a long journey and ask Justine Greening, to show commitment to women's political and social participation in fragile states. Women must have a say in the decisions that affect their lives. Justine needs to take our message to the CSW. Please sign the petition now. Join your voice with theirs and call on Justine to raise these issues at the next international meeting for women, the 2014 Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) in March 2014.
