Matalan fails Rana Plaza victims - email action
Hundreds of you have been taking action to call on Matalan to pay the £3 million in compensation that they owe to the survivors of the Rana Plaza disaster and the families of the 1,138 victims. Labour behind the Label recently spoke to Matalan head office on the phone and received yet again no confirmation that they will pay into the Rana Plaza compensation fund. We need to keep up the pressure on Matalan around this important date to make sure they pay the £3m they owe.

The Pay Up campaign is calling on all brands and retailers who were sourcing from factories in Rana Plaza to pay compensation to the families of the 1138 workers killed and to the 2500 workers who were injured when it collapsed in April last year.
