TTIP vote at European Parliament postponed at the last minute

A historic vote on the biggest trade deal ever negotiated between the EU and the US has had to be postponed after the European Parliament descended into chaos.  Our MEPs - were meant to have a series of votes on the deal. But after never-before-seen levels of pressure on MEPs from members of the public across Europe, politicians behind the deal were so worried about losing the votes that they cancelled them.

European MPs were due to vote on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership on Wednesday. But the vote had to be delayed because there were too many proposed amendments.
